OVERVIEW The V41 Prize Board (the “Promotion”) is a gamified rewards system designed to incentivize participation in the V41 community. By participating in V41 races, challenges, and community activities, users earn digital “Season Tickets” which may be used to enter drawings for various prizes provided by V41 and its third-party sponsors.
ELIGIBILITY Age Restriction: Participation in V41 Racing is open to all ages (with parental consent for those under 18); however, the Prize Board and associated Drawings are strictly limited to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. While participants under 18 may earn 'Season Tickets' as a measure of their season performance and for leaderboard status, they are ineligible to 'spend' tickets or enter drawings. Any entries found to be submitted by a minor will be disqualified, and any associated prize will be forfeited. Employees, directors, and officers of V41, its advertising/promotion agencies, and Prize Sponsors are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited by law.
HOW TO EARN TICKETS Participation: Users earn Season Tickets by completing verified segments on the V41 platform. Verification: All rides must be verified via the V41 app or connected Strava account. V41 reserves the right to disqualify any tickets earned through fraudulent data, motorized assistance on non-E-bike segments, or course-cutting. No Purchase Necessary: No payment is required to enter or win. While a V41 membership may provide additional features, a paid subscription is not required to earn basic tickets or enter drawings. Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE): Users may enter any specific drawing without earning Season Tickets by mailing a 3x5” postcard with their name, email address, and the name of the specific prize drawing to: 7040 Avenida Encinas, Ste 104-848, Carlsbad, CA 92011. Each postcard counts as one (1) entry.
PRIZE DRAWINGS & WINNER SELECTION Redemption: Users must navigate to the V41 Prize Board and "spend" their earned Season Tickets on specific prize drawings. Each ticket spent counts as one (1) entry into that specific drawing. Selection: Winners will be selected via a random electronic drawing from all eligible entries received for that specific prize. Notification: Winners will be notified via the email address associated with their V41 account within seven (7) days of the drawing. If a winner does not respond within fourteen (144) days, V41 reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
PRIZES Prizes are provided “as-is” by third-party sponsors. V41 makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the quality or safety of the prizes. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutions. Taxes: Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with prize receipt.
DATA SHARING & PRIVACY Lead Generation: By entering a specific prize drawing, you acknowledge and agree that V41 may share your name and email address with the specific Sponsor providing that prize for marketing purposes. Opt-Out: You may opt out of sponsor communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided by the Sponsor. Publicity: By winning a prize, you grant V41 the right to use your name and/or likeness for promotional purposes on the V41 website and social media channels without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY & SAFETY Inherent Risk: Mountain biking is an inherently dangerous sport. By participating in V41 segments to earn tickets, you acknowledge that you are riding at your own risk. Release: You agree to release and hold harmless V41, its founders, and its Sponsors from any and all liability for injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Promotion or the receipt/use of any prize. Safety First: V41 does not encourage reckless riding. Please follow all local trail rules, wear appropriate safety gear, and ride within your limits.
RIGHT TO CANCEL OR MODIFY V41 reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Prize Board or any specific drawing if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion, as determined by V41 in its sole discretion.
