The V41 Prize Board (the "Promotion") is a rewards system operated by V41 LLC ("V41") and designed to encourage participation in the V41 community. By taking part in V41 events, challenges, and community activities, users earn digital tickets which may be used to enter drawings for prizes provided by V41 and its third-party sponsors.
Who may enter. The Prize Board and associated drawings are open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 13 years of age. Participants under 18 ("Minor Participants") may earn tickets, spend them, and enter drawings, provided a parent or legal guardian has signed the V41 participation waiver for the Minor Participant's account and that waiver is on file with V41 at the time of entry. Entries from a Minor Participant account without a signed parent or guardian waiver on file are void.
Minor Participants who win. A prize won by a Minor Participant is released only after the Minor Participant's parent or legal guardian signs the V41 Parent or Guardian Prize Acceptance Addendum. See "Minor Winners" below.
Who may not win. Employees, directors, officers, and founders of V41, its advertising and promotion agencies, and Prize Sponsors are not eligible to win. Members of the immediate family (spouse, domestic partner, parent, child, sibling, and each of their spouses) and members of the household of any of those persons, whether or not related, are also not eligible to win. Void where prohibited by law.
Participation. Users earn tickets by completing verified segments on the V41 platform.
Verification. All rides must be verified through the V41 platform or a connected Strava account. V41 reserves the right to disqualify any tickets earned through fraudulent data, motorized assistance on non-E-bike segments, or by not completing the full segment.
No Purchase Necessary. No payment is required to earn tickets, enter a drawing, or win. Every ticket is earned through participation. Certain V41 merchandise purchases may include a promotional multiplier that increases the number of tickets a rider earns through participation. A multiplier does not create tickets on its own and has no effect for a rider who has not earned any. Purchasing merchandise is never required to participate in any drawing.
Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE). Users may enter any specific drawing without earning tickets by mail. To enter, hand-print your full name, email address, mailing address, and the name of the specific prize drawing on a 3x5 inch postcard and mail it to:

Each postcard counts as one (1) entry into the drawing named on it. Mail-in entries are subject to the following:
Redemption. Users must navigate to the V41 Prize Board and spend their earned tickets on specific prize drawings. Each ticket spent counts as one (1) entry into that specific drawing.
Selection. Winners will be selected by random electronic drawing from all eligible entries received for that specific prize.
Notification. Except as provided under "Minor Winners", winners will be notified at the email address associated with their V41 account within seven (7) days of the drawing. If a winner does not respond within fourteen (14) days, V41 reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
If a winner is a Minor Participant, the following terms apply in place of any conflicting term in these rules.
Notification. V41 will notify the parent or guardian at the email address on file for the Minor Participant's waiver, and will also notify the Minor Participant at the email address associated with their V41 account.
Addendum. The parent or guardian must sign and return the Parent or Guardian Prize Acceptance Addendum within fourteen (14) days of notification. If the Addendum is not returned within that time, or if the parent or guardian declines the prize, the prize is forfeited and V41 may select an alternate winner.
Delivery. The prize will be delivered to the parent or guardian at the address they provide in the Addendum.
Taxes. The parent or guardian is responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with the prize.
No sponsor data sharing. V41 will not share the name, email address, or other personal information of a Minor Participant, or of their parent or guardian, with any Sponsor.
Publicity. V41 will not use a Minor Participant's name for promotional purposes unless the parent or guardian grants permission in the Addendum. Where permission is granted, V41 will identify the Minor Participant by first name and last initial only.
Prizes are provided as-is by third-party sponsors. V41 makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the quality or safety of the prizes. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutions.
Taxes. Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with prize receipt.
Lead Generation. By entering a specific prize drawing, you acknowledge and agree that V41 may share your name and email address with the specific Sponsor providing that prize for marketing purposes. This does not apply to entries from Minor Participants. See "Minor Winners."
Opt-Out. You may opt out of sponsor communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided by the Sponsor.
Publicity. Except as provided under "Minor Winners", by winning a prize, you grant V41 the right to use your name and likeness for promotional purposes on the V41 website and social media channels without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Inherent Risk. Mountain biking is an inherently dangerous sport. By riding V41 segments to earn tickets, you acknowledge that you are riding at your own risk.
Release. You agree to release and hold harmless V41, its founders, and its Sponsors from any and all liability for injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Promotion or the receipt or use of any prize.
Ride Responsibly. V41 does not encourage reckless riding. Follow the posted rules of the trail system you are on, yield to other trail users, wear appropriate safety gear, and ride within your limits. No ticket is worth riding beyond your ability or riding a trail that is closed.
V41 reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Prize Board or any specific drawing if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion, as determined by V41 in its sole discretion.
